‘Mason’ Celebrates 5000th Bear
|On Wednesday 19th September 2012, representatives of the Cheshire TLC Appeal attended the ‘Children’s A & E Department’ at Arrowe Park Hospital, to mark the occasion of the 10,000th TLC Appeal Bear being donated. This was yet another mile-stone, in that the 5,000th TLC Bear had been celebrated on the 14th February 2011, only some 18 months previous.
A hospital spokesman said, “Make a real difference by helping us treat children who are in pain or distress, often turning tears to smiles. We would like to thank the local Freemasons for their continued support and for the fabulous sponge cake they gave to our stall.”
